A strict, middle-aged woman has been sent into the mountains to retrieve a lost teenager at the request of his parents, only to realize that the teenager is a runaway with no intentions of returning home.

My Thesis Short Film for the Pratt Institute graduating class of 2023. This is a story that centers Intergenerational Trauma, learning to accept your imperfections, and realizing the importance of protecting yourself and the people around you. Telling this story has been very personal to me, and something that I’ve been wanting to make for a long time. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I have.
